Be warned! The Storm X are extremely warm, not only are they waterproof with fully taped seams the padding is insulated within both body & arms, on top of that you have a thick body layer of Sherpa liner throughout. The hood is detachable with thick Sherpa lining. All zippers are waterproof and panelled. Pockets are waterproof lined with generous iPhone plus size pockets along with an Internal pocket.
Relaxed hip cuff to avoid any ride up, a hip length coat instead of a short bomber. Hybrid neck has a soft internal fleece liner for warmth on the back of you’re neck. In short, the team have ticked every box.
If your hot blooded naturally we recommend trying the non padded lightweight version 2.0 which is cooler and can be used to layer up.
If you feel the cold and love to be cosy in cold weathers once they kick in, this is the coat for you.

We have created this design working with the renowned 'BIONIC-FINISH®' outer shell fabric which we have invested and purchased directly from the manufacturer to create the perfect team performance jacket that ticks every box when training. In terms of fit we have listened to ladies feedback and noted on bombers a taut elasticated bottom was not desired as it rides up in the saddle, we have therefore created a relaxed bottom hem if you want extra room whilst in the saddle. This coat is all about warmth in the cold weathers and multi versatile to use in Winter not just for equestrian use.
The outer shell being BIONIC-FINISH® means it has been bionic-technology approved by DWI at RWTH Aachen University. The fabric is also oil and soil repellent, fabric looks newer for longer, fast drying, breathable, and can come up new just by a quick wipe of a cloth due to its stain repellency.
The waterproof technology is 5000+ meaning it sits in the chart to offer a good level of waterproofing withstanding heavy rains. The highest waterproof is 10'000, we purposely avoid this texture due to effecting the breathability and find 5000+ is the perfect consistency for performance in the saddle.
As you all sold us out of the original lightweight Bionic's we thought it would be amazing to work further on this design to bring to the market a cosy severe winter Coat with all the extra features included. We wanted to create our own version by concentrating on the fabrics, performance capabilities and introducing some new logo branding designs never seen before. Cleverly designed to make you look super smart on horse back yet not out of place for a day out whilst being extremely cosy and warm during extreme weathers.

*DO NOT HEAT WASH/DO NOT HEAT DRY/NO DRYER OR LAY AGAINST HEAT
*We recommend sponging down an soiled spots rather than washing every time, this will ensure less reduction on the waterproofing outerlay and protect the print for longevity
*When needing to wash we recommend a cool wash or dry clean in between sponging
*Due to the fabric genius within this product being soil repellent a damp sponge down will remove the most stubborn of stains
Size
This product runs up true to size but may be perceived as generous due to the regular fit. If in between two sizes choose the lesser of the two. Due to the insulation padding & sherpa liner on top there is no need to have to layer up inside the coat as it does naturally offer extreme heat and warming for you.

Hi, I'm Kathryn! Founder, designer, customer care rep, and "everything else" at Equiluxe Tack. I grew up on horseback, head over heels for the classy & matchy-matchy revolution in the equestrian world. This is what inspired me to bring the unique, original vibe to life with my store, Equiluxe Tack back in 2020.
