With her grandpa's patient guidance, she learned to craft saddle pads from scratch. In those moments, she discovered not only the art of creation, but also the intricacies of running a business, selling the saddle pads she made from scratch to support the financial journey of horse ownership.

As the years passed, Kathryn's skills flourished. With unwavering determination, she forged partnerships with local equestrian brands, her creations finding their way into the hearts of riders who appreciated the authenticity in every stitch.

Her journey led her to the doorstep of giants—the renowned Equiluxe Tack. The same hands that once lovingly stitched saddle pads were now shaking hands with the biggest brand names in the equestrian industry. Through dedication and grit, Kathryn had climbed the ladder, her dreams materializing into a reality she had once thought unattainable.

Now as an adult, Kathryn was able to achieve partnerships with some of the biggest equestrian brands in the world. In the year 2023, Kathryn attended some of the largest horse shows in the United States representing Equiluxe Tack, while staying true to her roots and continuing to attend the local Kentucky horse shows; And through it all, she never forgot the values that had shaped her—a commitment to supporting fellow women entrepreneurs, a dedication to quality, and an unyielding love for her community.

Heading into 2024, she continues to forge new brand partnerships every week, each one bigger than the last, and plans to continue bringing Equiluxe Tack to more horse shows across the country.
