The best way to determine the size GreenGuard muzzle your horse or
mini will need is to get two measurements. First is your horse's nose
circumference. That's the total distance around your horse's muzzle from
the tip of the chin to the top of the nostril. Second is your horse's
bit size. That's the distance from the outside of one corner of their
mouth to the outside of the other, plus half an inch.
Once you have those two measurements, consult the chart above. Note
that GreenGuard muzzles fit much larger than traditional grazing
muzzles. That is so that their mouths can move freely inside the basket
when they eat. If your horse is between sizes, we recommend getting the
larger size up. If the muzzle is too small, it may rub.

CAUTION: Horse and Pony sizes may not fit
in some types of automatic waterers if the diameter is less than 11
inches. Make sure the muzzle will fit in your horse's water source
before ordering.
