The Kentucky Horsewear Chest Protection is specifically designed for horses prone to pressure marks and rubbing. Worn smoothly under stable rugs, under rugs, or turnout rugs, it shields sensitive areas and prevents friction on clipped horses or those with delicate skin.
Constructed with a flexible polyester and Lycra exterior, it naturally contours to every horse's morphology. The interior features a soft lining combined with artificial rabbit skin placed over key friction points, securing comfortably behind the front legs with a sturdy hook-and-loop closure.

Materials & care
The outside of the Chest protection is made from a mix of polyester and lycra. On the inside, the chest protection has a combination of lycra and artificial rabbit skin. The artificial rabbit skin is placed on the parts that are most sensitive to rubbing. There is a Velcro closure to secure the protection behind the front legs. As the product is made from lycra, it adapts to every kind of morphology.Sizing & fit

How to use
Slide the protection piece over the horse's head and neck, positioning the lined area over the chest and shoulders. Fasten the hook-and-loop closure behind the front legs, then fit your standard horse rug over the top.
