The Kentucky Horsewear Stable Rug Classic combines durable performance with a timeless design built to withstand daily stable use. Crafted with an ultra-strong 900D Ripstop polyester outer, it effectively repels wood shavings, hay, and straw while resisting tears and snags.
Inside, a soft micro-polyester fiber lining provides a comfortable, cotton-like touch against your horse's coat, paired with lightweight fiberfill insulation that mimics the warmth of down without retaining odors. Secure double front closures and cross surcingles keep the rug perfectly positioned alone or layered over an under rug.

Materials & care
The outside of the stable rug is made of a 900D Ripstop polyester. Ripstop fabric contains reinforced yarn, making it incredibly hard to tear the rug. Another benefit of this fabric is that it is shavings repellent, allowing hay and straw to be easily brushed off the rug. The filling is made from a fiberfill, which has the same performance as down without absorbing any smell. The inside lining of the rug is a micro-polyester fiber, which has a soft cotton touch.Sizing & fit
The Stable Rug Classic can be worn in combination with an Under Rug. The rug stays in place thanks to the polyester microfiber lining, two front buckles, and two surcingles.Compatibility
Designed for standalone stable use or for layering directly over compatible under rugs.
