The Velari Pelham Curb Chain is a stainless steel curb chain designed for use with Pelham and double bridle bits. Its flat links sit neatly against the chin groove and help distribute the leverage of the bit evenly between the mouth, chin groove and poll when the lower rein is engaged.
Easy to adjust by selecting the appropriate link, the chain supports clear and consistent communication with your horse. For correct action, adjust it so it engages only when the bit shanks form an angle of approximately 45°, twisting the chain so the links lie flat against the chin groove.
